AI · ML · IIT Student Soon
Hey — I'm Lalan Kumar, a BTech student at IIT soon working at the intersection
of AI, machine learning, and the web. I care about making things that are
technically sharp and genuinely good to use. I'm deep into competitive
programming — the kind of problem-solving that keeps you up at 2 AM. I qualified for ZCO on the path to INOI, and I
won a hackathon that reminded me how much I love building fast under pressure.
Outside of code, I'm usually out on a field somewhere — cricket is religion, football is
therapy. I also shoot, photography: I photograph the things most people
walk past, light hitting a wall at the wrong angle, a moment between moments. Finding
frames everywhere is just how I see the world now. Oh, and I overthink things.
A lot. Some call it a habit — I call it a feature, because occasionally that depth
leads somewhere genuinely interesting.

Something good. Something useful. Details when it's ready to see the world.
A project still finding its shape. Good things take the time they need.
Can't reveal it yet — but when it drops, you'll know why it took a while.
